Food is not only the focus of my profession, but also a passion that has been woven into every aspect of my life. With Chilean roots and a global mindset, I experienced diverse food cultures. Even today, I can’t resist stopping by a local food shop or planning a holiday around a culinary experiences. I bring a unique perspective to consulting that is rooted in personal passion and professional expertise. For me, staying curious and thinking outside the box is not just a strategy for success, but a way of life.
Passion to Profession: Organic Food
Back in my school days, I worked in an organic restaurant and followed my interest in my studies. I completed a bachelor’s degree in wine marketing, and gained hands-on work experience at various organic wineries. This inspired me to delve deeper into organic farming, leading me to pursue a Master’s degree in Organic Food Chain Management at the renowned University of Hohenheim. Early on, I realised that sustainable agriculture is key to a future-proof world.
Steering Your Business to a Sustainable Future
For nearly a decade, I have been privileged to work as a strategic purchaser for dry food and wine at an organic wholesaler. However, in late 2020, I decided to start a new chapter and turn my passion for organic food into my own business: The Organic Food Consultant. Since then, I have been dedicated to helping foreign organic brands successfully enter the German market, while also supporting raw material producers from developing countries in exporting to Europe. But that’s not all. To offer my clients even better support, I have obtained a degree as a certified Systemic Coach and Change Manager.
Sustainability and Münster: My Story
I not only apply my values in my work, but also in my personal life. I live with my husband and son in a farmhouse just outside of Münster, Germany, surrounded by beautiful nature. When I’m not working, you can find me exploring nature with my family and friends.
Fun Fact: Did you know that Münster has one of the highest densities of organic shops in Germany? It’s true! I love exploring the 15 organic shops and the local organic market that takes place every Friday.
